According to the Articles of Association of the company, shares must be registered in the name of the holder to carry voting rights. 93.1% of all shares are registered in the names of their holders. At 30 September 2008 the volume of shares owned by foreign institutional investors was approx. 10%.
Section 28 (a) and (b) of the Danish Companies Act requires shareholders owning more than 5% of the share capital or voting rights of a company to be known to the public. According to the records, three shareholders are covered by this section. They are Mrs J. Louis-Hansen, Randers, Mr N.P. Louis-Hansen, Vedbæk, the Foundation of Aage and Johanne Louis-Hansen, Nivå and ATP, Hilllerød.
